Social Media Tutorial for Mom on Mother’s Day?

Well, you are not alone.
Mom, we love you but there are some things we’d like to introduce you to that may make communication a little easier or, at the very least, cut down on some of the questions.
An entrepreneurial copywriter in New York named Jenna Livingston got together with some creative pals to offer just in time for Mother’s Day. The tongue-in-cheek website provides informative tutorials on the basics of Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram. How to tag a photo. What ‘#’ means. Repinning.
Perhaps the most helpful part is the etiquette bit for each category. For example, you don’t have to ‘Like’ every photo your kid posts. Be careful what you tweet when you’ve had one too many white wine spritzers. Only pin wedding info if your kid is actually getting married.
So, in addition to the cards and treasured gifts and special brunch, you can give mom some patient, willing instruction on how to connect all year long. #thanksmom #loveyou #betterthanflowers
